The USPCA are supporting Will to Give Week 6th – 12th November 2017, raising awareness of the importance of making a Will and how you can leave a gift to charity or charities #changethefuture.

“In 2012 the charity opened a state of the art animal hospital facility in Newry providing seven days a week service to animals in need. Without many benefactors leaving the charity a gift in their Will this facility would not exist.

Such gifts have been the lifeblood of the USPCA and relieved the suffering of the many needy animals coming into our care.”

Colleen Dowdall, Business Manager, USPCA.

The Ulster Society Prevention Cruelty to Animals (USPCA) is the second oldest Animal Welfare Charity in the world. Founded in 1836 by Commander Calder its priority was to challenge the abuse of working animals in an industrial Belfast.

The USPCA mission remains unchanged over the last 181 years:

“The prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering in animals and the advancement of animal welfare.”

The USPCA differs from many other animal welfare groups who focus on the needs of a single species with our unique commitment to protect ALL our animals.
