Will to Give are hosting a breakfast event to present the current context and highlight the potential of charitable gifts in Wills in Northern Ireland from 10:30am – 12pm, Tuesday 9th May at Cleaver Fulton Rankin Solicitors, Bedford Street, Belfast.

Meg Abdy, Director of Legacy Foresight will present up to date information on legacy giving both and within a local and UK market context. 

About Meg Abdy and Legacy Foresight

Legacy Foresight are Europe’s foremost analysts of the legacy and in-memory giving sectors. They appraise the state of the markets, produce income forecasts and research into donor motivations. 

Over the past 23 years Meg has been involved in every aspect of the Legacy Foresight business – from forecasting to focus groups, scenario building to social media. She was instrumental in setting up the In-Memory Learning Circle (now entering its seventh year with 50 charity members) and Legacy Monitor Netherlands (which now includes 5 of the top 10 Dutch legacy brands).

Philanthropy Fortnight

The event will come under the umbrella of Philanthropy Fortnight which is a two week series of workshops, seminars and networking events from 8th to 19 May 2017, celebrating the generosity, time, commitment and support that thousands of Northern Ireland people give every day to causes close to their heart. 

This is the fifth annual Philanthropy Fortnight, which focuses on the practice of investing in good causes and explores new ways of promoting and developing the concept of strategic giving.
