What we do
Rosie’s Trust is a unique Northern Ireland charity. We support people who are terminally ill, older people with disabilities, and people undergoing cancer treatment who have companion pets they are struggling to care for but who want to stay together!
At Rosie’s Trust our primary aim is to be with the individual and their companion pet for as long as they need us. Taking the stress away from both the human and the animal.
The human has peace of mind knowing RT will be with them supporting them to care for their companion pet. And our animal beneficiaries can relax in the company of our trained volunteers.
RT volunteers are there for daily visits.
RT fosterers are there to look after the animal when a beneficiary need to go into hospital or hospice care.
And if our beneficiaries wish – on their death, Rosie’s Trust will ensure their beloved pet has a wonderful home.
