NIPANC: Pancreatic Cancer

NIPANC

What we do

NIPANC is a Northern Ireland charity, set up by individuals with direct experience of this cancer, to support the families of current patients and to improve outcomes for those affected by it in the future.

Each year around 300 people across Northern Ireland are affected by Pancreatic Cancer.  Sadly, half will die within 3 months of diagnosis and only one in twenty will survive for five years.

NIPANC is making a real difference by increasing public understanding of this cancer, to ensure that its signs and symptoms are recognised and acted upon early.  This will support timely diagnosis and treatment of the cancer and will save lives.  Recognising the poor prognosis associated with Pancreatic Cancer, we are funding vital research to better understand the disease and promote the development of more effective treatments.  We also place great store in providing practical support to patients and their families.

Gifts in Wills

If someone that you love has been lost to Pancreatic Cancer, you will know all too well of the impact of this cancer on patients and their families.  This cancer is indiscriminate, often affecting people with no obvious risk factors.

By leaving NIPANC a gift in your will, you will directly contribute to our important work in raising awareness regarding vital early diagnosis and help us to support patients and families affected by Pancreatic Cancer going forward.  Your contribution will also be critical in funding necessary research to improve future outcomes of this deadly cancer;  ensuring that fewer families in Northern Ireland lose loved ones to this terrible disease in the future.

Your gift can make a real difference!
