What we do

Guide Dogs are here to help people with sight loss to live the life they choose. Children and adults. Friends and family. Our expert staff, volunteers and life-changing dogs are here to help people with sight loss:
Live actively. Our people and dogs can help people with sight loss go wherever school, work or play takes them – and they can be confident that their sight loss won’t hold them back.
Live independently. The advice and skills we provide will give people with sight loss the freedom to achieve their hopes and ambitions on their terms.
Live well. We can provide support through the emotional and practical challenges of sight loss, introducing our beneficiaries to inspiring people with similar experiences and supporting adults and children living with sight loss to be their best.
