What we do

What we do

Guide Dogs is here to help people with sight loss to live the life they choose. Our services are lifelong and for everyone; children and adults, friends and family.

Our expert staff, volunteers and life-changing dogs are here to help people with sight loss:

Live actively – our people and dogs can help people with sight loss get out and about with confidence, going wherever school, work or play takes them – and knowing that their sight loss won’t hold them back.

Live independently – the advice and skills we provide will give people with sight loss the freedom to live life on their own terms, so that they can achieve their hopes and ambitions.

Live well – we provide support through the emotional and practical challenges of sight loss, introducing people with sight loss to an inspiring community of people with similar experiences, and giving the support needed to be their best selves.

With your support, we’ll create a future where people with sight loss can live actively, independently and well. To find out more about the difference a gift in your Will could make, visit www.guidedogs.org.uk/giftsinwills
