What we do

Concern Worldwide is an international humanitarian organisation specialised in tackling hunger with the most vulnerable people in the world’s poorest places. Hunger affects everything for the people we work with. We believe no one should have to live with hunger and the damage it does.

Founded in Ireland in 1968, we have over 40 years of experience using our expertise and local knowledge to help people and communities develop their own lasting solutions to hunger. Our integrated and participatory programmes tackle hunger from all angles to ensure change is sustainable and communities become more resilient to future crises.

Gifts in Wills

Hunger is the world’s biggest health problem, but it is also the most solvable. Gifts in wills are crucial to make sure our essential life-saving work continues for future generations. These very special gifts help us plan ahead, respond quickly to emergencies, commit to long-term projects tackling the root causes of hunger and campaign to change the bigger picture.

Writing a will is an important way to take care of your loved ones and they should always come first. It is also a wonderful opportunity to continue your lifelong support for a cause you feel passionate about and to ensure your values of concern for others and determination to end hunger live on.

After taking care of your loved ones, please consider remembering Concern in your will. Whatever the size of your gift, you can be certain that it will make a huge difference to the world’s most vulnerable people, helping them free themselves from hunger.
