What we do
Alzheimer’s Society is the UK ‘s leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. We provide information and support to people with any form of dementia and their carers through our publications, National Dementia Helpline, website, and around 3,000 local services. We campaign for a better quality of life for people with dementia and a greater understanding of dementia. We also fund an innovative programme of medical and social research into the cause, cure, and prevention of dementia and the care people receive.
Gifts in Wills
Leaving a gift in your will is a fantastic way to support our work. Even a small gift will bring expert care, support and advice to the thousands of people living with dementia in Northern Ireland. It will also bring hope because we are committed to funding vital research that one day might lead to a cure.
Your legacy gift could; help fund scientists to pursue vital research projects help our services to support local communities, help family carers by providing quality, day home and respite care for those they are caring for, provide training for health and care professionals, help Alzheimer’s Society to campaign for the right of people with dementia to have a better quality of life and to be treated with dignity. A gift in your will really is a gift to future generations – a gift that will make a lasting difference, helping to support more people with dementia, their carers and fund research that could one day find a cure.
