On the 27th July, NIEL’s Heritage Lottery Funded “Investing in Northern Ireland’s Heritage” programme will be hosting a Legacy Fundraising Masterclass with gifts in Wills guru Richard Radcliffe, in association with Will to Give.
Legacy gifts across the UK are estimated to be worth around £2.5 billion, and this source of income is predicted to grow in the coming years.
Richard Radcliffe has 35 years in fundraising, which includes more than 25 years specialising in legacies, there isn’t much about legacy fundraising that Richard doesn’t know. So far, Richard has met over 25,000 donors, volunteers and service users in thousands of incredibly informal focus groups/discovery days covering every cause on the globe. He has written (or helped draft) more than 700 successful legacy fundraising strategies. He continues to access the legacy market, learning and expanding his insight as the market evolves and matures.
