What we do

Friends of the Cancer Centre is one of Northern Ireland’s leading cancer charities working to support patients and their families.  Based at the heart of the Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital, Friends of the Cancer Centre funds life-changing and life-saving projects that make a real and meaningful difference to local people affected by cancer.

The work of Friends of the Cancer Centre focuses on three key areas – patient care, research and patient comforts. Every year the charity invests over £1.4 million into local cancer services. With your support we can do even more.

Gifts in Wills

By becoming our ‘Forever Friend’ and leaving a gift in your Will, you could help us provide vital support for local cancer patients and their families.

Your gift could help us fund specialist staff trained to support patients throughout their cancer journey, clinical trials into new and improved ways to treat cancer or support patients in practical ways when they need it most.

As a charity, we rely entirely on the generosity of our supporters and we know that every penny donated represents something, or someone, very special.  That is why we promise that every gift, no matter how small or large, will be used to make a real and lasting difference.

You can write your Will for free with Will to Give and Bequeathed and leave a gift to Friends of the Cancer Centre.
